There are tons of local programs and events happening in our community, and we are so thankful!

Boys and Girls Club partners with Kendall’s Kindness to encourage our members to go out of their way to be kind to someone else. Kendall’s Kindness provides the Club with resources that help uphold Kendall’s legacy. We honor that legacy on the 12th of each month by encouraging random acts of kindness and reminding those around us not to overlook the small things, like smiling at someone in the hallway or calling to check up on a friend.

Random Rocks of Kindness is a global initiative that aims to spread kindness through the simple act of painting rocks.
Each year, our friends, neighbors, and children from the Boys and Girls Club participate in painting rocks for our annual Kendall’s Kindness 5K Memorial Birthday Walk to honor Kendall. These rocks are then distributed to walk participants, who can share them along the path, take them home, give them to others, or even travel with them to new destinations. In recent years, these rocks have traveled to numerous states and countries, spreading joy and positivity wherever they go. We hope that Kendall’s Kindness Rocks will brighten someone’s day, remind them to always be kind, and offer hope for a better tomorrow.
Remember, to always be kind and pass it on.

*This episode of ‘Up Close & Member-able’ talks about sensitive topics including suicide and mental health, which may be difficult for some listeners. We advise anyone who finds these topics difficult to refrain from listening to this episode and encourage anyone who may be struggling, or knows someone who is struggling, with these matters to reach out for help by calling or texting the National Suicide & Crisis Lifeline at 988.
