River Jones from St. Charles North High School will be attending the Savannah College of Art & Design (SCAD) in Savannah, Georgia majoring in animation.

“I would like to thank the family that wanted to show their support for students in the arts for not only having the scholarship but also choosing me to receive it. With the money donated I will be able to pursue my studies of animation at Savannah College of Art and Design in Savannah Georgia. I want to be able to use art to help inspire other people to do a whole variety of things, and I want animation to be my tool for that.”

Maya Risberg from St. Charles East High School will be majoring in interior design at Baylor University in Waco, Texas.
Both students are very involved with volunteering and giving back to their communities. Their kindness comes naturally to both and giving back to others and their community is very rewarding.
