“Dear Maffia Family and Members of the CFFRV Scholarship Committee,
I am writing to express my heartfelt gratitude for selecting me as a recipient of the Kendall’s Kindness Scholarship. It is a true honor to receive this award, especially one that reflects the spirit and legacy of someone as inspiring and compassionate as Kendall Marie Maffia. This scholarship will directly support my education as I pursue a degree in Film Production at Boston University. I chose this path because I believe in the power of storytelling to foster empathy and inspire change, values that resonate deeply with Kendall’s life and passions. With your support, I can focus more fully on developing my craft as a filmmaker and less on the financial challenges of attending college. Kendall’s story moved me deeply. Her vibrant creativity, strong will, compassion, and resilience in the face of challenges are qualities I deeply admire and hope to embody throughout my own journey. I will carry her legacy with me, striving to bring the same kindness and light into the lives of others that she so clearly shared with those around her. Thank you again for your generosity and for allowing Kendall’s spirit to live on through the dreams of young artists like myself. I promise to make the most of this opportunity.
With sincere gratitude, Quinn Bryant”

Dear Maffia Family,
“Thank you to Kendall’s Kindness for the generous scholarship to be used towards furthering my education in the arts. Next year, I plan to study Industrial Design at the University of Kansas. My interest in art and design combined with my own medical experiences have encouraged me to explore the design of medical products and patient environments. I appreciate being selected for this scholarship and will be using it towards my tuition. I plan to continue spreading kindness through my artwork. Thank you so much.”
